No Bake Peanut Butter Oat Balls

My sister brought what she called peanut butter oat balls with us snowboarding the other day and they were so yummy I had to make some myself. I really liked the idea of them, being a vegetarian they're a great way to get a punch of protein, sort of like a home made protein bar. She didn't really have a recipe for them more of just a guideline so this is what I came up with.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Rolled Oats 

1/2 Cup Peanut Butter 

1/3 Cup Honey

1 Tsp Vanilla Extract 

1/2 Bag Milk Chocolate Chips

Combined all ingredients in a large bowl, mix well. Once mixed roll mixture into small balls, refrigerate  one hour and enjoy.

This is one variation I made. In another batch I made I added coconut and raisins instead of chocolate chips. You can kind of add whatever you want as long as you keep the basics and add to that. Basics being oats, peanut butter, honey and vanilla.

This year I want to make stuff happen. Work hard at everything I'm doing and start putting plans behind the things I want to achieve. Use my time more wisely to get what needs to be done done.
How well I can do this will definitely be tested this month with some big things coming up. I start school full time next week and I am leaving for a week to the dominican for our wedding Jan 22. I am really looking forward to both but it's going to be a lot of work.

What's New With The Shop

This year one of things I want to work on is getting some new stuff in my shop, taking new pictures and focusing on updating it a lot more. I have decided to change the pricing a little on somethings in the shop for now. All single pairs of the button earrings will now be buy one get one free. Life Lately

Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Years. Here is a little of what I have been up to lately. 

Lunch with mom, siblings, aunts and grandma / Nap time. These two always make me laugh

Reese destroyed my pillow and had those little white balls stuck all over her / Christmas day, me, my sisters and brother

Reese & Waylon

We have been getting quite a bit of snow here lately (finally) and these two absolutely love playing in it. Reese, who won't go outside when it's raining, never even wants to come inside now. I love when their little faces get covered in snow like they have a snow bread.

These photo are all taken with our new 50mm lens which takes pretty awesome pictures but I am missing our old lens. This one has no zoom and you have to focus it yourself, which make it very had to take pictures of moving things, like dogs. When you do get a good shot though it is great and crystal clear, I just need a lot more practice.

How was your Christmas? Mine was very busy but very nice. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm heading out to go snowboarding for the first time this season :)
