Pumpkin Spice Latte

I found this recipe last winter and have been in love with making my own pumpkin spice lattes ever since. This is a perfect warm fall drink. Beware you might become addicted.

  What you'll need:

1 cup milk (I used soy milk, you can used almond or rice milk if you wish)
1/4 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
2 tsp pumpkin spice blend, or to taste
1 tsp cinnamon, or to taste
      1 tsp vanilla extract

  Directions:

  - Brew a pot of coffee however you like it. (Stronger coffee is better for a latte as there's a lot of milk add to it)
  - Combined all ingredients in a small bowl (I used a small mason jar and attached the bottom of my blender to it and blended it)
  - Warm ingredients, either by frothing (if you have a frothier) or just put it in the microwave for approx. 1 minute. It should get a little frothy on the top once warmed.
  - Get yourself a mug and half fill it with your coffee and the other half with your frothy pumpkin spice milk mixture, or to taste
  - Sweeten to taste.

Voila! There you have it homemade pumpkin spice latte!

*I accidentally bought pumpkin pie filling instead of actual pumpkin :s I didn't notice until I opened it and realized it didn't smell how it usually does. I used it anyway and it still turned out pretty good, I would recommend the actual pumpkin over the pie filling though

Wishing everyone a good stress free first day back to school.
Happy Tuesday!!
