Update on Life Lately

I can't believe it's been a whole week already since my last post. It's been pretty crazy around here this past week. Here's a little updated on my life lately.

My bridesmaids through me a surprise shower on Sunday. It was my very first surprise party and boy was it a surprise. It's strange walking into a party you had no clue about. It was so much fun, they did an amazing job. I have the best friends :)

On Thursday my fiance and I got "legally" married. It was just very small because our actually wedding will be in the Dominican in January. We chose to get married here first so that we don't have to change everything over when we get back, it's a lot easier this way.
Sorry this picture isn't that great but it was the best one I had :$

So that's what has been happening around here. I think most of our wedding prep is now done and I can finally start Christmas shopping!! Yay!!!

What have you been up to lately?

Today I'm linking up with:
The Life of a Not So Ordinary Wife
The Things We Find Inside

Happy Tuesday!!

Congratulations Christine!!! That's fabulous!!! I think it's wonderful that you decided to get legally married before the destination wedding! I wanted to do something similar, but (a) I wasn't allowed to have a destination wedding (product of a Greek family - read: Greek mom lol) and (b) my mom wouldn't let me :) I'm so happy for you!!!!

congrats! i got married in jamaica and should have done that before we went because trying to do everything when we got back was a disaster, plus that's where my main marriage license is. hell, i don't even know if we're really married since we don't have one here in the states.
